What to expect- Each student will be assigned their own work folder to keep their weekly work progress inside. The first class we go over safety and how the machine works. We then go into how to thread the machine and practice it 3x. Students then move onto practice sewing straight lines on these fun sewing papers. We finish the first class by starting the pencil roll up project and begin step 1, the pocket construction. Each week your class will begin with practicing threading the machine 3x then a sewing warm up then we move onto the next steps of the project.
I have picked this project for the beginners classes (youth and adult) because it is the perfect item to learn with. It provides practice of straight lines, and other basic important skills to help you to advance in your sewing.
